Mary Gatchell, LMHC
Psychotherapist
I have been working as a mental health counselor for adults, adolescents, and couples for five years. I received my BA in psychology from SUNY Geneseo and my MS in Mental Health Counseling from Canisius College.
I have a wide range of experience in community mental health providing therapy for issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, women’s and LGBTQ+ issues, as well as day-to-day stressors such as finances, life transitions, and relationships.
I have dedicated my career to advocating for underserved populations and cultivating a safe space to develop meaningful relationships with my clients. My goal as a therapist is to actively listen, provide constructive, empathic feedback, and utilize evidence based practices to help my clients learn strategies and skills to obtain their personal goals and thrive in their everyday lives.
